Shelter Spotlight is a free editorial initiative by Paws & Spells LLC featuring animal shelters and rescue organizations across the United States.
We invite organizations to share their work, experiences, and community initiatives through articles published on Paws & Spells. Our goal is to highlight practical animal welfare efforts and connect readers with the organizations behind them.
What Your Organization Receives
Selected organizations receive:
- A dedicated article introducing their organization and work.
- A link to their official website or social media page.
- Promotion through Paws & Spells social media channels, including LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Recognition of their programs, experiences, and community initiatives.
Participation and publication are completely free.
Who Can Participate?
We welcome U.S.-based:
- Animal shelters and municipal shelter programs.
- Independent animal rescue organizations.
- Foster-based and volunteer-led rescue groups.
- Community animal welfare nonprofits.
No minimum number of followers or LinkedIn account is required.

How It Works
- Submit your information: Complete the short form below.
- Editorial review: We review your submission and contact you if selected.
- Short interview: Answer a few questions by email about your organization and its work.
- Article preparation: We write the feature and provide an opportunity to verify factual details.
- Publication: We publish the article, share its link with you, and promote it through our relevant social media channels.
You do not need to write the article yourself.
